Designing Your Smile

Dr. Goch wants to ensure that your veneers give you a great new smile. Careful preparation is the key to achieving the smile you want.

In your first visit, you receive an oral exam, and X-rays and photos of your smile are taken. Dr. Goch then discusses with you your goals for your new smile.

When you are getting many veneers, we will take impressions of your teeth to send to the lab which will make a full wax-up model of your smile. This is used so Dr. Goch can make changes and show you what your new smile will look like in advance.

The last step during this visit is to prepare your teeth for the veneers and put temporary veneers on them so your teeth are protected while your permanent veneers are being made.

Adjustments and Final Veneers

In the next visit you will try your veneers to make sure they are right and look exactly how you want. Any adjustments needed will be made until you are completely satisfied with your smile.

Dental Bonding

Before & After Dental Bonding

Dental bonding  can be used to correct minor flaws in your teeth in order to improve your smile. This can be done as a more economical alternative to porcelain veneers.

The advantage is that they are not only more economical but can be made in one appointment. Dr. Goch uses tooth-colored dental resin which is applied to the surface of the teeth and molded. It is then hardened with an ultra-violet light and polished to match your teeth.

Dr. Goch is very experienced in making dental bonding cosmetic corrections. The results are very pleasing. The only disadvantage over porcelain veneers is that dental bonding is less durable than porcelain and it is not possible to achieve the same translucency and shade.
